Damp & Doomed at Dungog Show December 3, 2015 DUNGOG Show - 13th & 14th November 2015 Whilst packing the ute on Friday afternoon a cool southerly breeze blew across Parkville & I was relieved to have the humid weather blown away. I did not stop to wonder what that breeze might mean, as I raced to meet up with Kirsty in Scone, the both of us flying solo in our own cars for the first time! Kirsty in 'Big Tex' the patrol and myself in 'Rodney' the Rodeo. Ready for our 2 hr drive, we teamed up on the...

Slow & Steady at Singleton Campdraft October 23, 2015 After another late Friday night of last minute rhinestoning on our new humongous 4m banner, Saturday morning saw us heading for the Singleton Show Campdraft, by invite! The only casualty of body parts was a blistered heel playing havoc with Kirsty, but she donned her bandaids and boots again for another day! We hit Kick Ass Coffee in Aberdeen and left a pile of business cards with Tony. Our caffeine addiction fulfilled (and a promise to bring back a bling hat to stand out amongst his display of stud caps) we...

Snapping Good Time at Muswellbrook Charity Rodeo & Campdraft! October 24, 2015 After celebrating 2000 likes on facebook during the week, Kirsty and I packed the ute (the gazebo played nice this time) and got ready to make tracks to the Muswellbrook Charity Rodeo & Campdraft. New shipments of denim shorts, check. Chairs in, check. Sponsorship banner in, check (and double checked). Could we really be that organised? 5 events down and I think we're getting the hang of this! Kirsty in the passenger seat, no bandaids or blisters in sight, we grab our coffees from Kick Ass at Aberdeen...

Hot for Barrel Racing at Murrurundi October 9, 2015 After an exhausting week of foalwatch for the both of us, Kirsty's horse event honing skills revealed that we had a local Barrel Racing event to head to. Not just any Barrel Racing Event, it was a Cloverleaf Cruisers Event!! (We're told these are the best!) I was awoken on Saturday morning by a text message from Kirsty that read: 'Rise & Shine! It's Cloverleaf Time!'. My answer having worked the Thursday night previous was: 'Keen Much?!' A double scoop of coffee later, dressed, face on and ready to go, I...

Gresford Campdraft & Rodeo Knocked Our Socks Off!! September 12, 2015 We definitely got more than we expected from Gresford Campdraft & Rodeo!! An eventful beef jerky late night drive on Friday night from Scone to Gresford saw us setting up in the dark at the Showgrounds, testing our stamina and Kirsty's height!! We camped in the back of the ute overnight and froze our butts off, but we are country girls and we survived!! We had an early start on the Saturday morning, Gresford pulled out a beautiful sunrise which gave us a much needed thawing out and then...
